Awake in the mornings to a sumptuous home-cooked breakfast on our sun-soaked terrace and enjoy the silence – only interrupted by the sounds of farm animals, birds and the bubbling river. Gaze in awe at the mountain views and plan your day.
We offer a wide range of activities for you to choose from. Experienced and qualified guides can help you gain the maximum enjoyment from mountain hiking and horse trails throughout the year. Seasonal activities include skiing at the nearby Tiffendell resort, fly-fishing in world-famous trout filled rivers, tubing and exceptional birding. For those with their own equipment, the area is ideal for mountain-biking, quad/motorbikes, 4x4 trails and kayaking. Edgehill is an awesome venue for activity-based groups to stay and we offer preferential rates for hiking, riding, biking, birding and fishing clubs who want to get away together.
Guests of all ages will love our gentle riverside walks, complete with natural swimming pools, jacuzzis and bushman paintings. We can bring you out a picnic lunch or organize a treasure hunt to keep everyone entertained. Young and old alike will adore our animals and we can organize pony rides and horse trails on well-schooled mounts. We offer family-friendly adjoining rooms and parents will be able to truly relax whilst their children run around in freedom and safety. We even offer baby-sitting services so that the adults can enjoy their own adventurous play in the mountains.
As night falls, enjoy a hearty dinner of your choice before relaxing in front of a roaring log fire in our beautifully furnished lounge. Alternatively, enjoy a drink around our outdoor fire whilst gazing up at the stars, so clear that you feel you can reach out and touch them. Driving Directions
From the R58 (connecting Barkly East & Aliwal North) Follow signs for Tiffindell Ski Resort. After approx 50kms you will come to a fork signposted Tiffindell to the right and Lundeans Nek to the left. Take the left hand fork to Lundeans Nek. After approx 500 metres you will see Edgehill Farm signed on the right hand side.
