Discreetly tucked away in the tree line on the edge of the magnificent Mvubu plain, Kwafubesi Tented Safari Camp pampers its guests in five luxury canvas tents, where romantic oil lamps and home prepared meals served in the thatched Lapa add to this unique Out of Africa experience.
Accommodation:
· 5 twin tents, sleeps 10.
Childrens Policy:
No children under 12 are permitted at Kwafubesi.
Climate:
· Summer: Temperatures between 15 min and 35 max
· Winter: Temperatures between 5 min and 25 max
What to Take:
October to March: Summer Clothes. A warm jacket or jersey for the cooler mornings and evenings.
April to September: Winter clothes. A very warm insulated Jacket for the cold morning and nights. Hats, scarf and gloves are recommended.
Comfortable walking shoes track shoes or boots are useful for the bush walks. Sandals are useful for walking around the lodge. Shorts and t-shirt needed all year round for the warm midday period.
Swimming costume, sun block, insect repellent, sun hat, sunglasses and lip balm are recommended.

Driving Directions
BY AIR: Mabula has no contracted charter company. Landing strip co-ordinates - Latitude: 24degrees/44 minutes/94 seconds South - Longitude: 27 degrees/55 minutes/46 seconds East. Johannesburg International Airport, Transfers to and from the Airport can be arranged on request or you can make your way to Mabula by following Route two. BY ROAD: From CBD Take the N1 north pass Pretoria. Take the Warmbaths turn off and follow the Rooiberg/ Thabazimbi road for 34km before turning right on gravel road to Mabula. Gate Fees : R90 per standard vehicle per stay that takes up to a maximum of 5 passengers. R170 for any vehicle carrying more than 5 passengers up to and including coaches.
