We offer affordable and comfortable self-catering chalets/safari lodge in beautiful private game reserve located in Waterberg Biosphere reserve only 2½ hours from JHB.
We boast a small, comfortable private safari lodge with 3 self-catering chalets: 2 bedrooms, lounge w. TV, + 2 beds, kitchen, bathroom, verandah, private braai area (max 6 persons per chalet)
The Lodge complex has a beautiful lush garden, swimming pool, guest lounge, lapa and braai area.

Driving Directions
From Johannesburg International Airport follow direction Pretoria on the R21/ N1 (north). Stay on the N1 and continue north in direction Pietersburg (Polokwane).Leave the N1 at the Nylstroom/Modimolle off ramp/toll gate (Kranskop toll plaza which is the 3rd toll gate you meet. The distance from Pretoria (N1/N4 intersection) to Kranskop toll gate is app. 114 km) When leaving the N1 turn left (west) into the R33 to Nystroom 12 km away. Go straight through Nylstroom to Vaalwater 60 km away -still following the R33. Go through Vaalwater and continue still a few kilometres until you see a SPAR supermarket and the R33-Ellisras/Lephalale road junction. Turn right following the road Ellisras/Lephalale road for app. 22 kilometres (on hill top with small dwelling at road side). Turn left at the Shakati Game Reserve sign into the dirt road. After 2 kilometres you reach the Shakati gate.
