From the tranquility of the Day Centre, with it’s traditional African Cuisine , to the wild majesty of a 3 hour game drive, Kwantu will capture your imagination, leaving you physically and mentally rejuvented, soulfully inspired,and delayed in awe of this magnificient slice of South Africa.
Kwantu rests gently on the legendary Sidbury Plains.
Kwantu caters for your spiritual and prayer needs. Prayer facilities exist for the masses; Sidbury houses two of the oldest churches as well as a special Musallah for the Muslims.
Kwantu offers modern conference facilities in the historical village of Sidbury. These up market facilities can cater up to a maximum of 100 people.
Visitors with disabilities are more than welcome and are fully catered for at Kwantu.
Kwantu’s luxury lodges, each with double-bedroom and en suite bathroom, open on to personal decks, ensuring complete peace and privacy, overlooking a tranquil dam where some of our hippos have made their new home.

Driving Directions
Visitors will take the N2 to Grahamstown from Nelson Mandela Bay, and continue for approximately 80 km turning left at the Sidbury turnoff and follow the signs to Kwantu (approximately 15km later).
